One of the world's most distinctive coffees, transformed by the monsoon winds of India's west coast. Monsoon Malabar owes its character to 19th-century shipping routes, when beans travelling from India to Europe sat below deck, kept humid by the ships' porous wooden hulls, lowering their acidity and turning the raw beans a soft gold. Today, we recreate that journey on land: natural process beans are exposed to monsoon winds for around 14 weeks, swelling to nearly double their size while picking up that same low acidity and colour. The result is light in body, smooth, and unmistakably malty, with warm, spiced notes of masala chai and cedar running through every cup. 

Most coffees are labelled as espresso or filter. We see things differently. Every coffee has its own personality, so we roast each one to bring out its unique flavour, sweetness and character, rather than making it fit a brewing method.
