Punchy, but never aggressive, with plenty to back it up. This lot comes from CENCOIC, a co-operative of indigenous reserves in Colombia's Cauca region that has seen its political landscape shift drastically for the better in recent years. Coffee here grows alongside panela, plantains, pineapples, yucca, and lemons, and that intercropping shows through in the cup's natural sweetness. Colombia's varietals have evolved for good reason: Caturra replaced much of the Typica in the 1970s for its higher yields, followed by the rust-resistant Colombia variety in 1982 and Castillo in 2005, each improving productivity and cup quality along the way. The cherries here are washed, fermented for 8 to 14 hours, and carefully dried and graded before export, resulting in a full-bodied cup with punchy notes of dark chocolate and lemon. We are proud to introduce our Nespresso compatible coffee pods. We will be producing these speciality coffee pods in-house, so please allow 2-3 days before they are sent out to you.

Most coffees are labelled as espresso or filter. We see things differently. Every coffee has its own personality, so we roast each one to bring out its unique flavour, sweetness and character, rather than making it fit a brewing method.
