Halfway House

All the flavour, half the buzz. Halfway House is a genuine first for us: a 50/50 blend, half fully caffeinated, half decaf, for anyone who wants to cut back without giving up the ritual. The caffeinated half comes from our Direct Trade Nicaraguan La Bastilla, grown on the Jinotega estate within a mountainous nature reserve, where cherries are handpicked according to each farm's microclimate. It's also the coffee behind our work with the Teach a Man to Fish charity, funding three children through La Bastilla's on-site technical college. The other half is our Colombian Sugar Cane Decaf, processed at the Descafecol plant in Manizales using ethyl acetate derived entirely from sugar cane, removing 99.7% of the caffeine while keeping the coffee's natural complexity intact. Expect a soft acidity, a long aftertaste, and a decaf that tastes nothing like one.

Most coffees are labelled as espresso or filter. We see things differently. Every coffee has its own personality, so we roast each one to bring out its unique flavour, sweetness and character, rather than making it fit a brewing method.
