This lot comes from Fazenda Rio Brilhante, in the heart of the Cerrado region, named for the crystalline waters of the Guarani Aquifer that feed its soil. Run by Inacio Carlos Urban and his sons, the farm pairs Brazilian tradition with genuine precision, quarterly soil analysis, high-tech monitoring, and specialised pruning, to capture the terroir of Coromandel in every cherry. While staying true to the classic, chocolatey profile Brazil is known for, the Urban family is constantly trialling new varieties like Arara and Paraiso, pushing for better disease resistance without ever losing sight of cup quality.

Most coffees are labelled as espresso or filter. We see things differently. Every coffee has its own personality, so we roast each one to bring out its unique flavour, sweetness and character, rather than making it fit a brewing method.
