Where smoke meets fruit, and neither backs down. This is our darkest roast, taken into the beginning of second crack for a bold, smoky cup that still holds onto real notes of red berries and chocolate underneath. It comes from the Permata Gayo co-operative, founded in 2006 to guarantee traceability and improve consistency across its supply chain. The process is unique to Indonesia: Giling Basah, or "wet hulling," dries the green coffee in stages as it's transported down the mountain, through several different humidity levels, giving the raw beans their distinctive blue-green hue.

Most coffees are labelled as espresso or filter. We see things differently. Every coffee has its own personality, so we roast each one to bring out its unique flavour, sweetness and character, rather than making it fit a brewing method.
